1999 NISSSAN PATHFINDER upper manifold coolant hose help.

Postby ELLOEL » Wed Jul 15, 2015 10:59 am

good morning all! first post and im out of ideas...

working on a 1999 nissan pathfinder le / vg33e rwd which has had the engine replaced, but stuck on the coolant hoses on the driver side of the engine and the rear of the engine on the upper manifold plemun and where they go. pics of the initial removal were lost on a dead phone... iv scoured the internet/ prodemand and other resources for diagrams etc, but not finding anything that shows any indication of where or how they go. im hoping that some kind soul will be able to snap a few pics or provide me with something to see how this all gets put together.

thanks in advance

Dan

Go to junk yard or car lot to look at the engine.

Similar hose issue

Postby JimF » Mon Aug 22, 2016 9:01 am

I am also having a problem. There are two hoses that connect behind the upper intake manifold. I am really hoping to be able to replace these without removing the manifold and all that goes into doing that. Has anyone been able to do this or do I just need to suck it up and start removing everything?

If special tools then I will look to get those if that helps in the reach. I got the first hose off the second does not look like it was a molded hose and looks pinched. I plan to replace them both.
