The Nissan Path

Hey guys. I'm new here and this is my first choice. I have a number of cars at home, I'm somewhat of a car freak. Recently finsihed with a porsche carrera and now I'm working on an MG Midget and Nissan Pathfinder.

It's a silver 2000 Pathfinder, V6 3.5 SE. It has taken alot of damage in it's life and has run about 125k on the oddometer. However, the engine has just been worked on and it's running like it's brand new!

I was hoping you guys could give me some heads up or some ideas on what I could do with my 2000 pathfinder. I want a very subtle look. Don't want the extreme gangster look with chrome and bling everywhere. Just something very subtle yet will make people take a look at it and think "wow this guy put some hard work in to it." This is my first 4x4 project so I'm a little new @ this. I am having trouble finding any pics of modified pathfinders of this body type.

If you could find any pics or throw any good ideas @ me, that would be awesome!

I have the same problem as you karmi! Ppl don't seem to modify this generation, I don't know why! I've been looking for parts on internet, there are a ton for jeeps, a few for the 90's paths, and basically none for our generation. It's kidna lame... If you find anything, let me know!

What all have you done to modify your pathfinder?

Here's a simplified list :

1) AC coils (www.4x4parts.com)
2) KYB Struts
3) Rancho rs9000xl rear shocks
4) Rear ARB Air Locker
5) 265/75R16 MUD Tires (32")
6) Yakima Load warrior and extension roof rack with piaa atp520 lights
7) cobra wstx75 cb
delete mud flaps and siderails.

Feurys - nice truck! Do you still have your siderails? Are they for sale? One of mine is rusted quite a bit!

I wanted to say that I have noticed my PF is riding kindof roughly, I was thinking about replacing the shocks and struts and coil springs, Do you think that is a terrible idea? I can't find anywhere online where it says the average life of these parts, but I am thinking they are getting old. Any suggestions?

Yes we speak french here... and january and february are the coldest months of the year....makes us appreciate more the rest of the year
