2003 OEM Running Boards onto a 1997 LE 3.3L

Hey any help from someone who knows.
I love the look of the 2003 running boards and would like to put some on my 1997 frame. Does anyone know if I can do this EZ, right out put the 2003 onto my 1997 frame?

I know the length of the vehicles is about 4.1" longer in the 2003 but does this affect the running boards/mounting holes?
