Suspension kit Installation for 99.5

Postby TrunkMonkey » Mon Mar 28, 2011 11:10 pm

Hey guys,

I have a 99.5 path and want to do a 2" suspension lift (stupid unibody means this is my only real option for additional clearance). I'm currently looking at this kit:

https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/pathfin ... -1960.html

and wheels with the right backspace to fit.

My question is: how difficult would it be for me to install the kit myself? I have access to an entire machine shop of tools but I don't have a huge amount of experience with this kind of stuff (although i do have a knack for figuring stuff out as i go along)

Also, any comments on the kit itself would be outstanding.

Thanks!

-TM

very good kit, but get the camber bolts too... you;ll need them.

Doing it by yourself is feasable, but you will need a very good spring compressor as the ac coils are VERY stiff..

for me , with some help, it took 4 hours... so alone and with no experience, count double...

Good luck!
