low idle on 2003 pathfinder

Postby donn71 » Wed Apr 18, 2012 6:25 pm

I took my truck in for a tuneup to a trusted mechanic because it was starting hard. He said he could not get the idle to adjust back up to what it should be. It is idling (and stalling) at around 600 rpms. He found a Nissan Service Bulliten that says you have to take the truck to a dealership to get the computer to adjust. Does this make sense? Its a two hour drive to the nearest nissan. Is there a short cut?

Have you found an answer to your question. I just bought a 03 Pathy that seems to have a low idle no stall. It idles at about 750 or so.
