Vacuum Cut Bypass Valve?

Postby dpassino » Wed Feb 06, 2013 7:25 am

It's this part... I have an broken exhaust pipe and the heat melted the current one causing a code to be thrown. (exhaust is getting fixed very shortly)

I just don't know exactly where the part is located. I know it's somewhere near the canister. I can't seem to find a FSM picture for a 2003 pathfinder showing where it is exactly and if I have to remove anything to get to it. Any Ideas?

Here's a link to the parts diagram:

IIRC, it's mounted just under the body, toward the centerline of the vehicle ahead of where the evap canister is located (but still towards the rear of the vehicle).

I have that already, what I was just wondering if it's Above the Canister, or if it's closer to the exhaust. BUt thanks for the info.
