The Nissan Path

Hey there all, I'm sure you've noticed my adding some minor google adds lately. I've tried to make them as unobtrusive as possible, I hope you all don't mind too much. Our bandwidth use hit 13.5GB last month, and we've already horked down 8.7GB for December, so being able to defray our costs a bit will be a good thing.

I also just added a Google Custom Search box which by default only searches our form here. Since Google has us well indexed it makes it much easier to search for content on the forum. Google is way way better at parsing plain english searches than the stock form search function.

That being said, it occurred to me that maybe it would be cool to add more than just our form to that custom search box. Maybe add nissanusa.com, nissannews.com, courtesyparts.com, npora.ipbhost.com... What do you think? Useful or annoying? What sites would you like to see in our little custom Google search?

Okay, I added some Nissan specific sites to the search, please let me know if you find it useful or diluting our own good forum content.

Good idea, done. At the same time I pulled out npora.ipbhost.com, their forum content isn't indexed by Google so it really wasn't showing up in the searches at all.

Wish there was some way to exclude those lame GMC truck adds from the bottom banner...
