iPod kit available for Pathfinder 2006

Postby baselkayed » Mon Jun 26, 2006 7:15 am

Hi all,

It is nice to have such a forum established that fast for the New Pathfinder. I have just recieved my new Pathfinder 2006 LE 4x4 four days back, and I am so happy of its performance and ride pleasure. :D

I actually also need some help on what is the best way to connect an iPod to the audio stero of the car, specially that the installed HU is not the Sattelit model but the regular one, so please if you have any suggestions and that can be deployed easily without special requirements I apprecaite your help.

First off, all the 2006s are pre-wired for sat radio, and they all have the 6 disc changer. I think the 2005s are not quite the same, either not 6-disc or maybe not pre-wired for sat radio, but anyway, this would be what you need: http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=999U7-IPDNOST&Category_Code=

Also the PAC Audio AAI-NIS2 would do what you need:

I'm so psyched that Nissan is making this attachment for our cars. Those FM modulators (I'm hearing Marvin the Martians voice here) are crap! Now all I need is an I-Pod! I currenlty have an I-River player.

Thanks RacerZX for your help. Another thing I would like to ask about is the total fuel consumption, I feel that my car is consuming a lot of petrol, I can drive about 400km with a full tank so is this normal, have you monitored the distance you can drive with a full tank?

Start a new fuel consumption thread and we'll start trading numbers.

BTW, much much better to actually fill it up twice from the same pump and do the math to get a hard MPG number. Trying to compare "xxx miles per 'tank'" is way too variable.

But why the concern, isn't Petrol cheap in the UAE?
