A few photos of the 'White Elements' PF and Navara models as available in some European countries for just under $80,000 USD's (Austrian price);

I think they're more like $72,000 and they aren't that much more than the LE in Europe (about the equivalent of $7K). They look pretty cool. I'm not sure what's different other than the wheels, winter tires paint and ski carrier. Oh, there's the 2.5 L turbo diesel with a manual gearbox too.

I was thinking just the opposite. Guess I'm "old school."

That's as cool to me as the "Texas " Titan (F-n-lame marketing attempt). My two cents say horrible execution GTFOH. Where the :twisted: is the thumbs down emoticon? When will Nissan go further than some lame azz shiney rims and some gawdy chrome. Where is the full NISMO exhaust? They have 18" Frontier Nismo rims at least get those on there...

I am old school too. I didnt think of the White Element wheels as being new school though.
I think of the 20, 22, and 24" diamater wheels as new school.
Like these...

I should have been more specific. I was referring to black wheels in general. I'm still a plain alloy kinda guy. That's indicative of the time warp I seem to be locked in. :roll:

My take on the White Elements rims as offered is that they look fine for lightweight onroad. Generaly something for offroad rally will provide some gravel and snow protection to the brake system such as these offroad OZ rally rims imo, which might be considered to be somewhat of a standard for several years;

It's still hard to beat steel rims for strength, weight comparision and price considerations though, but if money were no object and to shave a few pounds off an offroad setup OZ rally wheels is the way I'd go.
