Hi, I am new to this forum and also new to upgrading my car so hoping someone can help me out.
Looking to get rid of the wobble and upgrade my off-road capabilities. I do a decent amount of camping, biking, and skiing in remote areas so wanted to slightly lift my pathfinder. Currently I am thinking of going with the Bilstein 6112 in the front and 4600s in rear with MOOG Coils.
However, being the noob I am, I wanted to ask you folks if the 4600 and MOOG coil would provide any lift in the back? And if anyone has installed the 6112s up front, what did you throw in the back since after my research it appears you can't install 6112s in the back.
I don't want my car to look funky with my 265/65/17 ATs on there so I was trying to add 1-2" and possibly bigger tires and rims later down the road when my Nitto Terra Grabblers wear out. _________________ '08 Pathfinder R51 |

I have the 4600s and MOOG coils all around. For the rear, they don't provide any lift. They did initially, but after the coils settled it's stock height. The good thing is that the rear is more controlled and doesn't bottom out anymore at all.
To give my self a 1 inch lift all around, I bought some BFGoodrich KO2's C rated load in size 265/70-17 (original tire size was 265/65-17). The tires are heavy and you can definitely feel the extra rotational weight, but it did give me the height I wanted. A fun fact is that my speedometer is now accurate vs reading fast. _________________ 2011 SV V6 - BF Goodrich KO2 LT265/75 17-C, StopTech slotted rotors (934.42044), AEM DryFlow drop-in air filter (28-20286), free air box mod, Xtreme Truck Performance IMS (http://extremetruckperformance.com/?page_id=6), Bilstein 4600's (F-24-197427 / R-24-197434), Moog springs (F-81280 / R-81119 ), CSF aluminum radiator (7029) |
