2007 Passenger side window acting strange

Postby sarvnaz123 » Sat Jul 26, 2014 8:49 pm

So, I have a 2007 pathfinder SE. the passenger side window only goes up and down when the window lock button on the driver side is pushed (which is when the windows should be locked) and vice versa. Any idea what is going on?

Basically the passenger side window acts opposite of what is should when the window lock button is on or off. It goes up and down when the button is on and it doesn't move when the button is off (which is when it should move).

Any suggestion on why this is happening and how we can fix this would be appreciated.

sounds like the switch is bad,

what do the rear windows do? are they behaving properly?

Yes, the rear windows behave properly. Any idea how to change the switch?

wicked easy, pop it out of the door, unscrew and unplug the old switch from the trim plate, screw the new one onto the trim plate, plug it in, slap it back in the door
