2017 MPG - Engine Breakin

Postby malimal » Thu Feb 09, 2017 10:55 am

Is there a break-in period for the 2017? I am only getting about 15 MPG.

Only 800 miles.

What are other people getting?

should improve somewhat over time, but depends where you are driving. City I wouldn't expect to get much better than that.

I was getting 18 mpg around north Dalllas Plano Richardson till 5000 miles.
Then dealer reflashed Engine drive module.
reset economy meter.
mileage improved to 20 mpg every tankfull city , at 6800 now.
Hwy mileage didnt seem to change.
I can dig out software version number if you need them.
sorry for delay, had trouble posting on my phone using chome.
