OK Guys an update....

I fitted the new plugs, cleaned the MAF and throttle body. My idle went bananas lol but after a lot of pedal dancing I managed to get the throttle relearn to do its thing. All OK now.

I ve now done 130km and my average fuel consumption is now down to 13.9l/100km (about 17mpg) which is a BIG improvement and Im happy with that..

Only problem now is after I disconnected the battery the VDC and slip lights are illuminated on the dash...

Assuming what is causing the lights is a steering wheel position sensor code, usually, you can steer the wheels straight, start the engine and drive in a straight line and reset. If they don't, there's a possibility that the wheel alignment if off and/or the steering wheel position is off. If that method doesn't work, you'll need a scan tool capable of doing a steering wheel position relearn.
