That's a pretty rare occurrence on the R51's.
That's good to hear.
I heard about it on the Xterra forums and I was getting concerned since its same powertrain..
also conversely if its rare on R51 that means its also rare on Frontier and on Xterra.
I can't say it "never" happens, as I do hear of a case every now and then. It was a much bigger issue on the QR25DE engines used in the 02-03 Altimas and Sentras to the point where they had to recall them.

Can one run o2 sensor spacers to mitigate that lean condition and codes?
The O2 spacers on the rear sensors help with the catalyst efficiency codes from triggering, but it will have no effect on the lean condition nor the "system lean" codes that may occur. It's also an issue on the 5.6L V8.

Mine just rolled over 123000 Miles and it is such a pleasure to drive. I have had Domestic wagons for the last 10 years, NEVER AGAIN!

All of our vehicles are Nissan and I can't tell you how much I giggle everytime i pull the Dipstick out and it's right where it's supposed to be!!!!
Love our Pathy, just getting ready for a road trip next week, in fact!!

Stay safe everyone!

I have 286k miles just changed the passenger side O2/Air Fuel sensor, Shocks at 30k (Bilsteins since 250k on them), Brakes 3 times I think, Lots of tires, Front Control arms finally, Starter crapped out at 284k, Alternator at 250k, 3 batteries including the original, Spark plugs every 100k I think that's it. It runs and drives like it always has and I drive a lot I am really surprised how tough the truck is. I bought it with 9 miles on it I actually still have free satellite radio it never stopped after the 90 days 8 years now.
