Spacer question

Postby robgeo1 » Thu Jan 17, 2013 3:25 pm

Question: Where would spacers go that would raise the vehicle? I see spacers to widen the track and spacers that raise the vehicle.

On top of the front strut and on the bottom of the rear coil spring.

Does the rear spacer under the spring increase the distance the shock has to travel?

in my opinion for the 2in spacers, no. the rear swaybar is pretty much going to limit that travel anyway, and unless you're doing some medium grade offroading where you'd be disconnecting the swaybar it's not going to matter.
