Have 07 Pathy 4x4 and tow a travel trailer, about 10500 lbs combined wt fully loaded (still under the 11.1k GVWR). Yes I know not ideal, but that is what I have right now. Pathy tows it almost as good as the Suburban I used to have. I am of course using weight dist hitch, installed firestone coil rite air bags and put Rancho 9000 adjustable ride shocks.
Problem is the tongue weight on this older trailer is a little heavy, pushes the back end of Pathy down 2-3 inches, even with air bags and shocks at stiffest setting. Not sure I believe the bags added 1000 lbs when you can only put about 30 psi.
Does anyone know of any other options for this vehicle, I can't even find air shocks. Thanks |
