Put my name on the list of people who were getting ready to buy a locking gas cap but now don't need to! Cool feature.

I've only had the Pathie a couple of weeks and didn't get an owner's manual. (it's an 06 base model) I downloaded one from the top of the page and I'm learning all kinds of things. The trip computer is pretty neat.

guinnessjim!

Any issues with your Yokohama Geo's? I see you went up a + size. How's the speedometer reading?

my 08 S - no lock

If you guys really want a pissing contest, check this out;

Look at the fuel door of an 05 vs. say an 08 - 05's you need to push the opposing side to flip the door open, newer ones have a little bump in the door you can grab with your fingers!

FYI - if you look at your fuel guage, it had a little picture of a gas pump, the arrow next to it points to which side your fuel door is on.

The lock is hard to add, it has a specific shape hole and the locking clip is particular, also they're a pain to get at from the back - I pity anyone that has to change it. The fuel door also has a recieving tab that the actuator mates to.

Actually I just took mine apart, it wasnt that hard at all, just a lot of pop rivets rear lower seat belt bolt and like 3 screws. probably took a total of 45min-1 hr thats to take apart, take actuator out and put it all back, and it was my first time doing so.

it actually depends on your trim level and year, some obstructions and all have hard panels - if you get some poor mechanic to change one under warranty, he gets 12mins. Long ways from 45min! ;)

Well since you put it that way, sucks for the mech.

I had a 05 Xterra and it didn't lock at all. I knew right away for my 07 Pathfinder SE, the unlocking sound is much different.
